Damn, where the hell has A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie been all these years?
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has been making headlines lately, and I’m not just talking about his music. Recently, he was spotted in a Japanese club giving someone the beats, and the footage clearly shows him, so it’s definitely real. Following that controversy, he dropped a new track titled “Part of Me.”
“Part of Me” delivers A Boogie’s signature emotional energy. The production starts with soulful, heart-pumping elements before morphing into heavy bass and club-ready vibes. While some parts might feel a little dated, it still hits hard.
Vocally, A Boogie leans into his melodic rap style, exploring his conflicted feelings toward a woman he’s been spoiling even though she’s misbehaving. The emotional weight he brings makes the track feel personal and probably relatable to people with obnoxious amounts of money.
The standout moment is the chorus, which cleverly flips Mariah Carey’s classic “We Belong Together” hook. All in all, while the track might not break entirely new ground, it’s a strong reminder of A Boogie’s talent, and it’s just good to hear him back with new music.

Quincy is the creator of Ratings Game Music. He loves writing about music, taking long walks on beaches, and spaghetti that fights him back.
