Top 5 Singles on the Billboard Hot 100 This Week (06/01): Drake, Ella Langley & Olivia Rodrigo

Drake and Ella Langley dominate the top 5 this week.

5. Olivia Rodrigo – “the cure”

Olivia Rodrigo slides back into the upper tier of the Hot 100 with “the cure,” landing at No. 5 and adding yet another top 10 hit to her growing résumé.

With eight top 10 hits on her catalog, it’s safe to say that whenever she drops, it will do serious numbers. Honestly, with her upcoming album on the way, Olivia might rule the rest of 2025.

4. Drake – “Shabang”

Drake holds firm at No. 4 with “Shabang,” which remains locked into its peak position for a second straight week.

Honestly, it’s the kind of track that would go crazy in a packed club. It makes me wish I still went club hopping because this feels like a straight-up movie-moment song in that setting. It also has that rare energy where it seems like just about everyone could get behind it.

3. Ella Langley – “Be Her”

“Be Her” continues Ella Langley’s breakout dominance, jumping into the top three this week at No. 3.

The track’s rise isn’t accidental, it’s momentum built over time. Fifteen weeks into its run, it’s still gaining traction, proving that Ella is simply becoming apart of everyone’s daily listening habits.

With “Choosin’ Texas” still charting high alongside it, she’s managing something rare: multiple hits moving at once, both with real staying power instead of quick spikes.

2. Ella Langley – “Choosin’ Texas”

“Choosin’ Texas” climbs back up to No. 2, extending what has already been a monster run.

Thirty-two weeks on the chart and still surging like it just dropped yesterday, the track has already spent 10 weeks at No. 1 and refuses to fully fade out of the spotlight.

If I were to guess, the track would end up as the best of 2026.

1. Drake – “Janice STFU”

Drake remains at No. 1 for a second consecutive week with “Janice STFU,” continuing a dominant run at the top of the Hot 100.

The track now stands out as his longest-running No. 1 since “In My Feelings,” marking a major milestone in his 2020s chart history and his first multi-week leader of the decade.

I’ll be completely honest: when I first heard ICEMAN, “Janice STFU” wasn’t on my bingo card as the breakout hit. But here we are, and now it’s the biggest one. Let’s see how many weeks it can stack up at No. 1.
