Complex Names Drake’s “Janice STFU” The Best Song Of 2026 So Far

Drake claims the top spot on Complex’s midyear songs ranking.

Complex has unveiled its list of the best songs of 2026 so far, and while there are a few surprises, one thing is clear: Drake’s dominance this year is impossible to ignore.

Claiming the No. 1 spot is “Janice STFU,” the explosive lead single that helped launch the ICEMAN era. The track has already become one of the year’s biggest commercial successes, topping charts and sparking endless conversation online. Complex clearly believes its cultural impact matches its numbers.

Drake wasn’t done there, either. His introspective “Make Them Cry” also cracked the Top 10, landing at No. 10. Having two songs in the top tier of a list this competitive says a lot about the run he’s currently on.

Elsewhere, Don Toliver’s “E85” secured the No. 2 position, while DaBaby’s comeback anthem “POP DAT THANG” landed at No. 3. Jim Legxacy’s “idk idk” came in fourth, continuing what’s been a breakout year for the rising artist.

One of the most notable collaborations on the list is Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar’s “Good Flirts,” which earned the No. 5 spot. A$AP Rocky and Brent Faiyaz’s “Stay Here 4 Life” followed closely behind at No. 6.

Rounding out the upper half of the ranking are Ye and André Troutman’s “All the Love,” Fenix Flexin’s “RUBBERZ,” and Latto and GloRilla’s “GOMF.”

Of course, with six months still left in 2026, there’s plenty of time for this list to change. For now, though, Complex has spoken, and Drake is sitting comfortably at the top.
