Tyga’s “$TARFACE” Faces AI Allegations After Producer Medasin Speaks Out

Tyga’s new $TARFACE era has been getting people talking for all the right reasons. Between the ’80s-inspired sound, bold visuals, and completely different artistic direction, it felt like one of the more refreshing pivots we’ve seen from him in a while. Unfortunately, the conversation has now shifted toward something far more controversial.

Producer Medasin, the same artist who previously claimed to expose Fenix Flexin’s “RUBBERZ” as AI-generated, has publicly accused Tyga and his team of using artificial intelligence on $TARFACE. According to Medasin, he tested “AFFECTION” through an AI detection model created by @humanstandard_, which allegedly identified the song as “likely AI” generated with Treblo software. He also pointed to EMPIRE’s involvement with both $TARFACE and “RUBBERZ,” suggesting there could be a larger connection, though he provided no direct proof beyond those observations.

As of now, none of these claims have been independently verified, and neither Tyga nor his camp has responded publicly. That’s important to keep in mind before jumping to conclusions.

Whether these accusations end up holding weight or not, one thing is for sure: this pivot was as random as it was impressive. Now, if you tell me Tory Lanez’s Alone At Prom was AI-generated, I might have to move some furniture.
