Megan Thee Stallion appears ready to open another chapter of her career, confirming that her next album, ACT III, is officially coming.
“I’M BACK.”
Sometimes that’s all you need to say.
Megan gave her fans that message Monday alongside a series of images posted to X and Instagram. In the photos, Meg is immersed in orange with “ACT III” and “I’M BACK” written across her backside, making it pretty clear what she wants everybody talking about.
The announcement comes after fans have spent plenty of time wondering when Megan would follow up MEGAN and ACT II. Though she has released some singles and teased new material, there hasn’t been a clear album rollout for fans to follow.
That has now changed, although we still don’t know when ACT III is actually arriving. Megan hasn’t announced a release date or revealed a new single, so there’s still plenty of mystery surrounding the project.
What I’m most interested in is what Megan decides to talk about. The drama surrounding her life now is far less crazy than what she experienced during the Tory Lanez drama, but the breakup with Klay Thompson could provide plenty of material. If she wants to get personal, there’s certainly something there.
An underdog Megan might just be her best version.
