Eddie Fresco kills this s**t.

Eddie Fresco has every reason to feel himself right now. The streams are moving, the work is paying off, and “RUBBERBANDS” sounds like the soundtrack to an artist realizing his grind is starting to mean something.

The production is easily one of my favorite parts of the track. It has a strong knock, a nice tempo, and this wild, futuristic quality that takes things to another stratosphere.

Eddie rides the production with a steady flow and a cool delivery, talking about his come-up, the work behind it, and enjoying the lifestyle that comes with finally getting some recognition. I love how catchy the hook sounds, and his overall performance feels hella natural.

There’s also more to Eddie than just this record. The Malta-born artist began using music as an escape at 13 and eventually became a founding member of the 215Collective. His influences stretch across hip-hop, punk, alternative R&B, boom-bap, and more. That versatility is part of what makes “RUBBERBANDS” interesting.
