You gotta love how much Yung Miami is milking this track.

Yung Miami knows she has something special with “Spend Dat,” so she’s absolutely going to squeeze every drop out of the song. Honestly, I can’t blame her. The track has become a song-of-the-summer contender, putting her back in the spotlight. This past Friday, she dropped two remixes to it, including one with Kodak Black and Lil Baby, plus an international version featuring Davido, Shenseea, and Vybz Kartel. And you know what? This international remix is actually pretty damn solid.

I LOVED the cultural collision happening here. You’ve got Shenseea and Vybz Kartel bringing that unmistakable Jamaican flavor, Davido representing Nigeria, and Yung Miami bringing the ratchet energy. Somehow, all those ingredients blend together like a Caribbean store in the hood.

What I appreciate most is that nobody feels completely out of place. Each artist brings their own sound to the track without stripping away what made the original so catchy. The combination gives “Spend Dat” a different personality while still keeping the energy intact.

I love how everyone has just accepted that we Nigerians are scammers. We aren’t even fighting back.
