Rich The Kid and Gunna Reunite for Melodic Single “Too Bad”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Gunna literally makes every track he’s on 10x better.

Rich The Kid is the latest rapper to bite the bullet and work with Gunna. What does that tell me? Making good music is the priority. On their new single, “Too Bad,” the two Atlanta rappers go back and forth so seamlessly that they occasionally sound like the same person.

“Too Bad” features chilled-out production reinforced by tons of bass, creating something that would go crazy inside a beach-themed club where everybody is dressed irresponsibly.

Gunna sets the tone with his signature slick, slippery melodic flow. Rich The Kid follows a similar blueprint, bringing a slightly rougher version of Gunna’s approach. Lyrically, both artists focus on having enough money to spoil the baddest women in the world. Groundbreaking stuff? Absolutely not. Still, nobody pressed play expecting to hear them talk about the Pythagorean theorem.

More than anything, “Too Bad” is a damn vibe. I will replay this s**t for sure.
