Kendrick Lamar Reportedly Had the Highest-Grossing Touring Year in Rap History

Kendrick Lamar’s monumental year included a touring record, five Grammys, chart-topping hits, and a historic Super Bowl performance.

Kendrick Lamar did not merely have a successful 2025. He put together the kind of year that future rappers may spend decades attempting to replicate.

Per Touring Data, Kendrick earned approximately $390.7 million while selling 2.037 million tickets across 47 shows. Those figures reportedly represent the highest-grossing touring year by a rapper in history. His stadium-filling Grand National Tour with SZA accounted for much of that enormous commercial achievement.

Touring was only one part of Kendrick’s historic run. “Not Like Us” continued operating as a cultural wrecking ball. The Drake diss won five Grammys, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, while further cementing its place among the biggest battle records hip-hop has ever produced.

Kendrick’s GNX album also remained dominant after arriving in November 2024. “luther,” his collaboration with SZA, controlled the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks. “tv off” peaked at No. 2 and became another unmistakable anthem from the project.

Then there was the Super Bowl. Kendrick headlined the Super Bowl LIX halftime show during a broadcast watched by approximately 127.7 million people, placing his music in front of one of the largest television audiences imaginable.

By the end of 2025, Kendrick had conquered touring, streaming, radio, the charts, the Grammys, and America’s biggest sporting event. Calling it one of rap’s greatest calendar years almost feels like an understatement.
