Stream “24HRS B4 XMAS” By 24hrs

I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but 24hrs sorta does look like a black Santa Claus… Anyway, today, the “What You Like” rapper/singer decided to gift us with a short EP called “24HRS B4 XMAS” that features some major players such as Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Chief Keef and PnB Rock. In my opinion, it’s the perfect project to get the jolly festivities started, especially if you live in one of those ratchet households! (more…)

Bad Bunny is a star. Since last year, his knack for making reggaeton hits has been hella impressive, especially considering the influx of talent that has emerged in the genre within that span. With the delivery of his debut album “X100pre,” the Puerto Rican talent looks to continue his winning ways.  (more…)

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie – Hoodie SZN (Album Review)

img_3378

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is one of the few rappers in the game that I find fascinating. Musically, he raps and sings equally as well, but in all honesty, it’s his backstory that intrigues me the most. Hailing from Highbridge in Bronx, NY, Boogie has this authentic street-persona that has made him a hero to the people of his city. However, after releasing a few hit records, he has sort-of swayed away from that world, instead, dabbling in music that is more on the commercial side of the things. With Hoodie SZN, I expect for him to go back to his gritty roots, which means savage content and a lot more street-inspired music. (more…)

YoungBoy Never Broke Again has had a damn good 2018. Throughout the year, he’s dropped eight projects in total, with his debut album being one of them. In “Realer,” his latest release, the Baton Rouge native looks to continue his growth as both a musician and man, even if that means creating music that veers away from catering to your average rap fan.  (more…)

Rkham – Pen & Paper (Album Review)

Rkham’s dedication to his craft is fairly obvious. You can tell he cares about all the ins and outs that go into delivering a masterful body of work, simply by listening to his phenomenal lyrical content and knack for delivering passionate content. In “Pen & Paper,” a project the Rockton, Illinois native considers one of his most important to-date, he shines bright, allowing us an opportunity to dive deep into the mind of a guy who simply wants to let his emotions manifest itself through his music. (more…)

Derez De’Shon has defied the odds. Not only has he made a major come-up from his drug-dealing past, but he’s also been able to stand-out in a packed group of trap artists that sorta do similar things as him. With that being said, Pain 2 serves as yet another stepping stone for the ATL artist — One that I predict will come with major dividends.  (more…)
