“move” gives me “Jocelyn Flores” by XXXTENTACION vibes (It gives me a few other vibes, too).

Just because I don’t know how to pronounce markushmane’s name, that doesn’t mean I don’t think his music is dope as hell. While he’s a rapper that clearly likes to get lost in the beats that he chooses to rap over, the good news is this: He raps over some very dope beats. In markushmane’s latest album, markushmane dynasty, you get beats that will make you want to roll up, beats that are chopped and screwed, and beats that sound like they forget to drink their coffee. One of my favorite tracks from the album, “move,” features some pretty solid bars and a beat that I really like.

“move” features a beat that straddles the line between somber and exhilarating magnificently. As for markushmane, he does a great job of throwing nothing but braggadocio, reckless, and carefree bars at the beat. He also does a good job of stiff-arming the beats vibes and choosing to sound like a rebel that’s down to have a little fun. All in all, “move” definitely caters to a bunch of vibes.

If you have 30 minutes to spare, listen to markushmane dynasty by markushmane. If you only have a few minutes to spare, listen to “move” below.
