ZIEARRE gets some deep thoughts off his chest in the very impressive “A Heavenly Piece Of Art.”

3. JUICY FRUIT

“Juicy Fruit” is a song that sums up A Heavenly Piece Of Art perfectly.

There is such a great balance of impactful bars and smooth melodies in “Juicy Fruit.” On the real, it almost sounds like ZIEARRE is going on a power struggle with himself in the song, teaching us valuable lessons on how to find internal peace in his raps and wondering how he’s been able to hold up in the midst of rainy days when he sings. If you aren’t moved by the time the song ends, you may have to hit the replay button immediately.

2. 66 BATTLEFIELD

There are so many things to love about “66 Battlefield!” I, for one, really like the song’s hypnotizing/flute-heavy beat, rebellious vibes, slight grunginess, and various styles.

“66 Battlefield” also features lyrics that will encourage you to get yourself off the mat when the devil tries to throw haymakers at you. Sure, your ears will enjoy “66 Battlefield,” but really, the song will give your body a well-needed energy boost.

1. BORN AGAIN

It is very hard to find songs that feature both hard-hitting bars and infectious melodies; there are two on this album (“Juicy Fruit” and “Born Again”).

Aside from the powerful raps and the dope melodies that you hear in “Born Again,” the song also boasts these vibes that are replenishing. As for lyrically, I absolutely love how ZIEARRE talks about bettering himself and putting his past in the rearview mirror. Those are two things that we can all learn to do.

Doesn’t this track give you early 2000s vibes? Man, that was a great time for music.

RGM RATING

(B)

This is a no skip album. We all know how rare that is, so do your ears a favor and bless them with the alluring sounds of A Heavenly Piece of Art.

ZIEARRE is a true talent and it shows throughout every single one of the tracks on this album. Each one is consistent with the next because they fit within the lane he is creating for himself. ZIEARRE didn’t limit himself to a specific genre or sound: Some songs could be categorized as R&B and Soul, while others as Hip Hop; which made listening to the album all that more pleasurable (BTW, ZIEARRE produced a good chunk of this album. I’m convinced there is nothing that he can’t do). At each transition, from one song to the next, I found myself excited to see how the following song would sound and found myself interested in identifying the ways it differed from the previous ones. Each song also features extremely powerful words that center around resiliency, trusting in the LORD, growth, and positive thoughts. I have no hesitation in saying that the future looks bright for ZIEARRE. All of the hard work, effort, and time he put into the album clearly shows. Not to mention, he’s already established a distinct sound and this is only his first album.
