Quavo Says He’s “Himothy”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Quavo has earned my respect on a whole new level. Despite grappling with personal tragedy, he’s shown remarkable composure, delivering a solid project and several noteworthy guest appearances. It’s a testament to his strength and resilience. In “Himothy,” his latest single, Quavo comes across as a new man.

Quavo seems to have regained his stride completely. In “Himothy,” he asserts his dominance, highlighting his loyalty to family, disdain for snitches, and love for plowing women. He also addresses lingering discussions about Takeoff, suggesting it’s time to move forward.

What I really like about this song is that it is fluffless. “Himothy” rides on a compelling trap beat with prominent piano elements, a perfect canvas for Quavo’s style. As expected, the Georgia native delivers with consistent flows and his trademark confidence. I hate saying people are back, but on some real s**t, with this release, Quavo is back!
