Rating: 4.5 out of 5.Kameron Desmond glides his ass off in this Jersey Club banger.
Kameron Desmond strikes me as one of those artists who only steps into the booth when he’s got something meaningful to say. After a brief hiatus following the release of “The Ends” five months ago, Kameron has returned with a strong series of new tracks. This month alone, he’s dropped “Favor,” “Proud History,” “Mirrors,” and “Aura.” Let’s dive into the latter track, “Aura,” and see what makes it special.
“Aura” thrives on a high-energy Jersey club beat with more stomps than Kirk Franklin. As for Kameron Desmond, he keeps it real as hell, opening up about relying solely on himself, staying ready for any confrontation, and brushing off fake people. He also gives a nod to his girl who understands his grind. While the raw and authentic lyrics stand out, it’s Desmond’s slick, feverish flow and the sly energy he brings to the track that takes it to the next level. All in all, this is the kind of track you’ll find yourself replaying multiple times without even realizing it (I’ve already played it ten times).
