Central Cee & 21 Savage Link Up For “GBP”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

It’s always great to see London rappers join forces.

Central Cee has been making waves as one of the UK’s brightest stars, actively bridging the gap between British and American hip-hop. Over the past few months, he’s collaborated with major US artists like Ice Spice, Lil Baby, and Drake, solidifying his international presence. Now, he’s continued that trend by teaming up with Atlanta’s own 21 Savage for their new single, “GBP.”

“GBP” marks Central Cee’s first release of 2025, following a string of hits in 2024, including “BAND4BAND” and “gen z love.” The track leans more toward the darker, street-inspired vibes of “BAND4BAND,” blending gritty lyricism with a hard-hitting beat.

In “GBP,” Central Cee and 21 Savage deliver raw, no-nonsense bars, touching on topics like the weapons they carry, the drills they’re willing to execute, and the calculated, sneaky ways they operate. The standout feature of the song is how seamlessly the two artists go back and forth, matching each other’s smooth but sinister energy. Additionally, the production packs solid energy, and the chorus is undeniably catchy.

Is this the first time 21 Savage slid over drill production?
