Ye and Pusha T’s masterpiece “Runaway” has officially joined the billion-stream club on Spotify.

Ye and Pusha T’s iconic track “Runaway” has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, cementing its place as one of hip-hop’s most celebrated collaborations. Originally released in 2010 on Kanye West’s critically acclaimed album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, the song remains a powerful testament to their creative chemistry.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is widely regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time, boasting features from Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj, Kid Cudi, John Legend, Bon Iver, and more. “Runaway,” with its haunting piano intro and unforgettable nine-minute runtime, stands as a highlight of the project and a fan favorite more than a decade later.

Unfortunately, the relationship between the two artists hasn’t remained as harmonious as their music. Pusha T recently distanced himself from Kanye, stating during Clipse’s Let God Sort Em Out rollout that they no longer share common ground.

Despite the personal rifts, “Runaway” endures as a reminder of their undeniable artistry together. The track’s billion-stream milestone underscores not only the enduring influence of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy but also the timeless appeal of Ye and Pusha T’s unforgettable collaboration.
