Starting today, Spotify will share pre-save counts for the top 10 Countdown Pages worldwide, and honestly? It feels like a game-changer for music fans.

With Taylor Swift’s The Life Of A Showgirl just breaking records as the first album countdown page to hit over 5 million pre-saves, Spotify clearly saw how much excitement these numbers bring. Now, instead of waiting until release day to feel the impact, fans can see the hype building in real time.
You’ll find the new feature right on Spotify’s “Upcoming Releases” page. There, fans can check out which albums are racking up the most pre-saves, compare numbers, and maybe even have some fun fanbase competitions over who’s leading the pack. It’s also an easy way to discover what other listeners around the world are excited for—and jump on the bandwagon before the drop.
