YNG Martyr & 1900Rugrat Bring Pure Chaos On “BODYCOUNT”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This track feels like a fight scene with background music.

YNG Martyr is back with “BODYCOUNT,” a hard-hitting single featuring Florida’s 1900Rugrat, and the track feels like it was built for pure destruction. Peeled from his brand-new project CHALANT, Martyr continues to lean into his unfiltered, high-energy style that thrives in chaotic environments.

The production here is hard-hitting, aggressive, and borderline cinematic, like something you’d hear right before everything goes left in an action movie. YNG Martyr attacks the beat with a relentless, no-nonsense flow, talking his s**t about money, dominance, and shutting down anyone in his way.

1900Rugrat slides in with a completely different approach. While Martyr brings the intensity, Rugrat cools things down with a smoother, more laid-back delivery. His verse leans into playa talk and quiet confidence, creating a contrast that actually elevates the track instead of clashing with it.

“BODYCOUNT” stands out as one of the more explosive moments tied to CHALANT. If you’re in a punchy mood, I recommend you press play on the track.
