Drake Projected to Control Billboard 200 Top 3 With “ICEMAN,” “MAID OF HONOUR,” and “HABIBTI”

Can you imagine passing Jay-Z and Michael Jackson in the same week?

Drake is projected to become the first artist in Billboard 200 history to simultaneously occupy the chart’s entire top three, according to midweek forecasts from HITSDD.

Current projections place ICEMAN at No. 1 with 475K first-week units, while MAID OF HONOUR and HABIBTI are expected to land at No. 2 and No. 3 with roughly 120K units each. The achievement would add another historic milestone to Drake’s career during one of the most commercially dominant weeks rap has seen in years.

Each project served a different purpose stylistically. ICEMAN leaned heavily into rapping, introspection, and stripped-down performances. Songs like “Make Them Cry” showed Drake succeeding with unconventional structures, including five-minute tracks without traditional choruses. Meanwhile, MAID OF HONOUR focused more on party-oriented music, while HABIBTI explored smoother R&B territory.

Tracks such as “Janice STFU” have also exploded individually, reaching No. 1 across major streaming platforms, including US Apple Music, Global Apple Music, and US Spotify. The distorted, hypnotic hook on the song has become one of the defining sounds from this current run.

If projections hold, Drake will also pass Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums by a rapper, while continuing to close in on Michael Jackson’s record for the most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles. (Drake is unreal, dawg).
