Pharrell Williams Connects With Quavo, NBA YoungBoy & Lil Baby for Louis Vuitton SS27 Tracks

Pharrell brought the trappers out for his Louie V show.

It looks like a few rappers are helping Pharrell Williams stay forever young. In celebration of his Louis Vuitton Men’s SS27 showcase, Pharrell decided to release a few tracks featuring some of the most popular names in modern rap: Quavo, NBA YoungBoy, and Lil Baby.

“HAAVIN” with Quavo feels like a luxury soundtrack. Pharrell creates a slick, polished backdrop, while Quavo delivers a bouncy performance filled with his signature confidence. The track becomes even more interesting when the beat shifts, adding some much-needed punch.

“SIMULATION” with NBA YoungBoy features production that carries a militant trap feel, almost like something you’d expect Lil Baby to dominate. Pharrell steps into his rapper role, delivering flashy, bossed-up bars, while NBA YoungBoy brings the intensity with his relentless flow and aggressive delivery. Surprisingly, they make a strong partnership.

“DEAD FRESH” features Lil Baby sounding cooler than ever over what I think is more straightforward trap production from Pharrell. He may mumble throughout parts of the track, but he still delivers a strong chorus and tough verses that remind you that the world is a better place when he’s a number-one option.

Pharrell’s beats will never sound old to me. Keep ’em coming, old man!
