Phoebe Bridgers is heading toward her biggest Billboard debut yet with “Lost Weekend.”
Phoebe Bridgers’ Lost Weekend is making a serious early push toward the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200, with the album reportedly aiming for 110K to 120K units in its first week, according to @HITSDD. If that projection holds, it would mark Bridgers’ highest-charting album to date.
The 16-track project arrives through Dead Oceans without a single guest appearance, keeping the focus entirely on Bridgers and her songwriting. “Lost Boys” helped carry the album during its early stages, but now that Lost Weekend has been available for several days, listeners appear to be digging much deeper into the project. On Spotify, every track has now crossed the one-million-stream mark, showing that the album’s momentum extends well beyond its lead moments.
According to bestsellingalbums.org, Bridgers’ two previous albums have each sold more than 600,000 copies, although neither delivered the same kind of first-week splash currently surrounding Lost Weekend. If this momentum continues, the new album could potentially surpass those totals relatively quickly.
What makes this especially interesting is the broader Billboard landscape. Artists such as Stella Lefty, Noah Kahan, and Ella Langley have shown that organic, authentic music can still make serious noise on the charts. Bridgers now looks like the latest artist joining that movement.
