Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” Aims for 14th Week at No. 1

Taylor Swift is projected to remain atop the Billboard 200 with approximately 87,000 equivalent units.

Taylor Swift could be preparing to celebrate two enormous Billboard 200 milestones at the same time.

According to an early projection from Hits Daily Double, The Life of a Showgirl is expected to earn approximately 87,000 equivalent album units during the current tracking week. If the estimate holds, the album will secure its 14th nonconsecutive week at No. 1.

More importantly, the victory would give Taylor her milestone 100th career week atop the Billboard 200.

The current forecast places The Life of a Showgirl comfortably ahead of its closest competition. Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is currently projected to earn roughly 68,000 units, while Drake’s Habibti is aiming for approximately 65,000.

Taylor’s album recently returned to No. 1 following the arrival of The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore. The deluxe release added four songs: “Patient Zero,” “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding,” and “Babylon.” Those additions gave the album a major boost nearly one year after its original release.

The 87,000-unit figure remains a midweek estimate, and Billboard’s official chart will depend on the final numbers verified by Luminate. Still, Taylor appears positioned to remain at the summit.

I genuinely believe Taylor Swift could release an entire album of burps, and it would still debut at No. 1.
