Tommy Stoner x Young Thug
A hip-hop track with soul elements and lyrics about living your best life.
Atlanta, GA-based musician, Tommy Stoner, is a producer, songwriter, and rapper eager to share his unique creations with the world. As noted in a recent interview, Stoner’s writing initially began when he was exposed to pop, rap, and hip-hop. His debut album, Youforia, was released in 2019; since then, the artist’s skills as a rapper, singer, and beat maker have only continued to evolve. Stoner has produced work for artists like Young Thug, Rocko, and Cyhi The Prynce. He’s previously been reviewed for his collaboration with ReadJ on “NotToday.” However, he has his own platforms outside of collaborations. These include Spotify, YouTube, and SoundCloud. Tommy Stoner’s recent drop is the hip-hop track “Bachelor,” featuring Young Thug.
We love easygoing beats, but “Bachelor” provides an extra bit of lightheartedness that we find intriguing. It feels carefree to listen to and somehow reminds one of a jazzy, soulful tune. At the same time, it’s meant to be influential and inspiring. Lyrics like “To focused to fall in love, babe” and “She seen this check I been going crazy, These days this sh*t looking up babe” reflect on living your best life on your own terms. That’s the way we should all be living our lives, whether or not we’re single. There’s a lot to love about the artist’s laidback creation. As a side note, due to Young Thug’s current circumstances, Stoner has decided to make the track available for free on Soundcloud; this is meant to be a tribute to the incarcerated artist. So, stream Tommy Stoner’s “Bachelor” and live your life on your own ideals.
